HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 FEATURETTE (Video) -The stars of How to Train Your Dragon 2 talk about what it was like returning to the sequel and what has changed since the last film.
The animated sequel picks up five years after the first movie with Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and his trusty dragon Toothless still flying together. When Hiccup can’t stand the pressure of becoming the next chief of the village, he sets out for an adventure with Toothless. During his journey, he comes upon an ice cave and encounters hundreds of new dragons. Hiccup then learns of an impending battle between dragons and humans, so it’s up to him and Toothless to settle the conflict.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is directed by Dean DeBlois and also stars Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Jonah Hill, America Ferrara, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Cate Blanchett, and Djimon Hounsou.
PLOT: It’s been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.
